Arsenal travel to France this week to take on Rennes in the Europa League Round of 16 and Unai Emery will be hoping to come back with an easy win.

Their away game in the Round fo 32 vs BATE did not go too well as the Gunners ended up losing that match 1-0 and had to rely on the second leg in order to ensure qualification.

But Emery will be hoping that they wrap up the tie in the first leg itself.

Arsenal news vs Rennes:

Most of the injury concerns for Arsenal are long term so those should not be a cause of concern for the manager.

The likes of Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding are still a long time away from returning to back to full fitness.

Alexandre Lacazette will miss this tie due to a two-match ban which means Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will start up front.

Lucas Torreira will also start in midfield since he will not be available for the domestic games after picking up a red card vs Spurs in the North London Derby.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan started the NLD and the Armenian is expected to retain his spot but Aaron Ramsey should make way for Mesut Ozil as the German will play just behind the striker.

Maitland-Niles started on the bench vs Spurs last weekend but he is expected to return to the first XI as Unai Emery looks to get back to his favoured 3-5-2 formation.

Kolasinac also started on the bench for the NLD but he is expected to replace Nacho Monreal on the left-hand side.
