Gareth Bale has done pretty well on loan at Tottenham Hotspur this season but there’s no surety what the Welsh international is going to do in the summer.

Some think his performances in the Premier League have been good enough to get a call back into the first-team setup at Real Madrid while others feel Zinedine Zidane is going to let him spend the rest of his Madrid career out on loan.

And when Gareth Bale was himself asked about this, the 31-year-old refused to reveal his future plans right now claiming that his current focus remains on the Euros.

The winger said, as quoted: “I’ll wait until after the Euros. It would just cause chaos if I say it.”

When pressed on his future, he added: “I’m not thinking about anything – all I’m concerned about now is finishing this season off strong, and we meet up straight after for the Euros.

“All I’m thinking about at the moment is Wales.”

With his loan deal over, Gareth Bale for now has returned back to Spain to join Real Madrid but reports are now suggesting that he could come back to Spurs during the summer, this time on a permanent deal.

According to The Mirror, Spurs have just started selling their kit for the upcoming season and the club are already selling shirts with Bale’s name and number on the back.

This could be a really big hint that either Tottenham already have an arrangement with Real Madrid or they are planning to sign Gareth Bale on a permanent deal in the coming months.

During the 2020-21 season, the 31-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 20 Premier League games which is a pretty decent figure for someone was literally a who benchwarmer at Real Madrid last season.

Gareth Bale has just one more year left on his current deal so if Spurs want they can sign him for a really low price. And given his relationship with the current Real Madrid boss, the Spanish side are not likely to fight too much to hold onto him.
