Hakim Ziyech has been linked with a move to Sevilla during the past couple of months. But it looks like the move is not likely to happen.

Hakim Ziyech joined Ajax from FC Twente in the summer of 2016 for a fee of just €11 million and now the Eredivisie outfit are willing to sell him off for a transfer fee of around £30 million.

During the 2018-19 season, the right-winger managed to net a staggering 21 goals and provide 24 assists in just 49 games for the club which basically means that £30 million is an absolute steal for him.

And this is why both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Ajax man during the current transfer window.

During the past few weeks, it was being reported that Sevilla are now the favourites to sign him but now Hakim Ziyech has made it clear that he does not want the move.

“I feel at home here and get to play a lot,” Ziyech said(as reported).

“I think Sevilla is from the same level as Ajax and I don’t switch Ajax for nothing.

“The right club didn’t make an offer yet, so for now I just stick with Ajax and do my very best on the field.

“I think everybody gets along really well. It’s a great team. We have fun and you shouldn’t give that up for nothing. You shouldn’t leave because of leaving; it has to be something you fully approve.”

While Hakim Ziyech has made it clear that right now he is at Ajax but there have been several reports that the English Premier League could be his next destination.

Having said that though, both Arsenal, as well as Liverpool, are yet to make any official contact with Ajax over the transfer of the Moroccon international.
