Manchester City manager has been eyeing Harry Kane for some time and the latest rumours suggested that they have agreed on a £160 million deal to sign the Spurs forward.

The Sun are claiming that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has finally caved in and will now allow his biggest asset to move out during the ongoing transfer window.

The publication quoted a source: “Harry and Charlie got the call at the end of last week.

“Obviously Harry was delighted because he never wanted to leave Spurs, his beloved boyhood club, on bad terms.

“Daniel Levy is a canny operator though and after Harry’s brilliant efforts and goals at the Euros his value has never been higher.

“By waiting until now, he has probably put another £20million or so on his price tag. A contract with Man City has not yet been signed but this is Harry’s preference. It is also preferable from Spurs’ viewpoint. They do not want to lose him to another London side.

“Terms have provisionally been agreed, and it’s an incredible deal. It’s now just a case of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.

“Harry is in the pomp of his career, and wants to win trophies. This is a brilliant signing for both parties.”

Harry Kane not moving to Man City:

The news of Harry Kane moving to Manchester City has spread like world fire but according to Manchester Evening News, Man City have not made any fresh approach to sign the England captain.

MEN claims: “club sources say that the Blues will NEVER pay that kind of sum for a player – a fee that would have doubled their current record and lumped £30million on top.”

Before the European Championship, Harry Kane had hinted that he wanted a fresh adventure but his new boss, Nuno Espirito Santo has made it clear that the striker is not up for sale.

As of now, it looks like Man City are not making such a steep offer to sign the forward but they are a club with financial might so it will not be a big surprise if they try and match Spurs’ demands – especially since they have already made a bid in excess of £100 million for him.
