Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Arsenal have been trying desperately to make Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sign a new deal at the club and according to ESPN’s Senior Football Writer, James Olley, the forward might have already signed on the dotted line.

“Aubameyang is done,” said Olley on Monday’s Jim White show.

“My understanding is he’s away on holiday and when he comes back they’ll shoot the promotion stuff.

“Understandably they want to make a big song and dance about it, it’s a huge deal for them and he’s been such an integral part of their team for the last couple of years.

“I believe that deal is literally they’re just waiting to shoot the promo to do the official announcement.

“I believe that deal is 99 per cent there.”

Aubameyang scored 22 goals in 36 Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 season and he was, without a doubt, the best Gunners player in each and every game.

His current deal expires next summer so if Arsenal fail to make him agree to a new deal then they will have no other option but to sell him off in the coming few weeks.

According to James Olley, Mikel Arteta has been able to pull the rabbit out of the hat which surely one of the biggest achievements in his short managerial career.

Now with Aubameyang set to remain with Arsenal beyond the summer, the manager can focus on the other problematic issues in his starting line-up.

If Auba has indeed signed a new deal at the club then he is sure to get a hefty pay rise under the terms of his new deal at the club.
