Premier League sides Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly registered an interest in Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, as per Football Italia.
The report claims: “According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool and Tottenham are keeping a close eye on Domenico Berardi and could soon make an opening bid to sign the Sassuolo star.
“His contract with Sassuolo expires in 2024 and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his performances at the European Championships have attracted interest from some top European clubs.
“The report claims Sassuolo haven’t received an official bid yet, but Liverpool and Tottenham could soon put their opening offer on the table trying to secure the services of the attacking winger.”
Is Domenico Berardi on his way to the Premier League?
Jurgen Klopp is eager to add some new attacking options to his side this summer and one of the areas of concern is the right-wing position with Mo Salah being linked with an exit.
We don’t think the Egyptian will try and secure a move out of the club this summer but his performances during the 20/21 season have not been great either, so trying to sign a backup makes complete sense.
Liverpool have been linked with a series of players like Adama Traore and the name of Domenico Berardi has just been added to that long list.
Spurs have already seen Gareth Bale head back to Real Madrid after his loan spell ended so naturally, they too are in the hunt for a right-sided winger. But Levy will also formalize this choice once he has managed to bring in a new manager.

The two English clubs are still in the nascent stages of this transfer race so we don’t expect either of them to make a move any time soon.
But having said that, Domenico Berardi might turn out to be a much cheaper option compared to the other wingers Liverpool and Spurs are being linked to so we can expect both these sides to go all out and sign the 26-year-old.
Berardi has been in top form for Sassuolo last season, scoring as many as 17 goals in 30 Serie A games and as per TransferMarkt, he is valued at £31.5 million.
