European football has been hit with recent racial issues during the current season and oddly enough fans from a number of the top Premier League clubs have been accused of racial behaviour.

The likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea have had to apologize during the past couple of months just because of some reckless behaviour from their fans.

But now one of the Chelsea players has been the subject of racial abuse.

We are talking about midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko who is currently on loan at AC Milan.

Tiemoue Bakayoko joined the Blues from Monaco in 2017 but after failing to impress in midfield, the Frenchman was finally loaned out to AC Milan last summer.

Initially, he struggled in Italy too but during the past couple of months, the 24-year-old has become an integral part of Milan’s plans and it was more than likely that he would be staying back in Italy beyond the summer.

Milan do have the option to buy him permanently during the summer transfer window and even Tiemoue Bakayoko has claimed that he wishes to remain with the club next season.

But now things he might just be thinking of taking a U-turn after he and team-mate Franck Kessie were the victims of racist abuse from Lazio fans over their last two games.

The Serie A is no stranger to racial incidents but reports are claiming that Tiemoue Bakayoko is deeply hurt and does not wish to remain in Italy once the current season comes to an end.

This might just be a huge boost to Chelsea given that they have been banned slapped with a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows.

While Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that Tiemoue Bakayoko has no place in his first XI but given that the Blues might not be able to sign any new players during the summer transfer window, the return of the Frenchman will surely be equivalent to a new signing.
