Chelsea performed pathetically last season under Antonio Conte so much so that they are playing in the Europa League this year.

But this campaign, the Blues have changed considerably under their new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri took charge of Chelsea and all the fans desperately wanted him to take the club back to playing Champions League next season.

But the former Napoli boss has done much more than that and the Blues are now worthy title contenders.

While no one really expects Chelsea to overtake Manchester City by the end of the season but the fact that the London outfit are even challenging for the Premier League title speaks a lot about the Italian manager’s talent.

And speaking about Maurizio Sarri, former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has revealed why the cigarette smoking Italian is a better manager than Antonio Conte.

“For me, Sarri’s used his brain a little bit and thought ‘how can I get maximum output from Kante?’ Being on the right of Jorginho I think actually gives great balance to Chelsea,” Kevin Campbell told Sky Sports.

“He’s doubled his goal tally, which is another tick in the right box. He will always get back and look at the touches he has in and around the box.”

While everyone has been praising Maurizio Sarri and Sarri-ball but some pundits have warned against celebrating too quickly simply because even Antonio Conte was labelled as a game changer during his first year in England.

But we all know how Antonio Conte was pushed out of the door at Stamford Bridge this summer.
