Rangers FC right-back James Tavernier could be on his way to the English Premier League – as per reports.
James Tavernier joined Rangers in 2015 from Wigan Athletic for a transfer fee of £200,000 and since then the 26-year-old has been one of the key figures in the first team squad.
James Tavernier has not played less than 36 games in each of the Premiership seasons and this year too he has featured heavily under Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard did some chopping and changing during the early part of the season but he quickly realized that the Englishman has to play at right-back.
But now the Light Blues might lose the 26-year-old as reports suggest that Premier League outfit Brighton are planning to make a move for him.

Brighton’s current right-back Bruno out of contract next summer and the Seagulls have identified James Tavernier as the long-term replacement to the 37-year-old.
But should Steven Gerrard let go of the right-back?
Well, if Brighton are willing to be a hefty amount for the 26-year-old then Steven Gerrard should not have any hesitations to send him off to England.
Then, what would exactly count as a hefty amount?
West Brom had offered £3 million for the services of James Tavernier during the summer which was swiftly rejected by the Teddy Bears meaning they will surely be looking at an amount much more than that.
And if rumours in Glasgow is anything to go by then Steven Gerrard is expecting atleast £10 million in exchange of James Tavernier.
