Juan Cuadrado joined Juventus in 2017 from Chelsea and since then the player has been a key figure in the Old Lady squad.

But this season with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Allegri has chosen to shuffle around his attackers a bit meaning Juan Cuadrado has seen very little game time.

During the 2018-19 season, the winger has featured in only 14 league games for Juventus and most of these appearances have come off the bench.

His current contract at the club expires in 2020 but given his diminished value, there have been several reports that Juan Cuadrado is planning to move out of Italy during the summer transfer window.

Reports have claimed that the 30-year-old is hoping to return back to the Premier League and currently West Ham United and Watford are the two teams who have been heavily linked with him.

Pellegrini currently has Michail Antonio as his right-sided winger but the addition of Juan Cuadrado to the squad will surely be deemed as a good transfer business for the Hammers.

But recently speaking about his future beyond the summer, the player has made it clear that he does not wish to leave Juventus and instead is planning to stay back and fight for his place.

Cuadrado told Sky in Italy: “I’m very happy with the club, the city and the people. My family is happy here, I still have one year until my contract runs out but it doesn’t only depend on me.

“I always try and do my best and I would be very happy to stay here.”

Last season Juan Cuadrado played in 29 games for Juventus across all competitions scoring five goals and making 10 assists but this season, the winger has managed to score only a single goal.

With the likes of Bernardeschi and Dybala playing down the right-hand side for Juventus this season, we doubt if Juan Cuadrado will be able to convince Allegri that he is an essential part of the first team squad for the upcoming season.
