Arsenal will take on Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Europa League later this month.

And it looked like Lorenzo Insigne might have missed this match due to an injury.

The attacker missed the round of 16 vs RB Salzburg with muscular problems and pulled up again in training last Friday.

And immediately there were rumours doing the rounds that the 25-year-old could miss the first leg of the quarter-finals.

But thankfully, Carlo Ancelotti has delivered some positive news and the Italian has made it clear that it is only a minor injury and Lorenzo Insigne should be fit to take on Arsenal at the Emirates in the first leg.

Ancelotti said: “Insigne just has a minor muscle problem and it won’t keep him out for long. He had an ultrasound today… the rehab is short, just a couple of days.

“It certainly doesn’t rule him out of the Arsenal game.”

Lorenzo Insigne is easily the best attacker that Napoli have this season and the Italian has already managed to net 13 goals in just 34 games for the Serie A side in all competitions.

if Lorenzo Insigne had missed the first leg then Arsenal would have found it much easier to keep Napoli at bay.

But now it looks like the Gunners defence will truly be stretched and Unai Emery’s men will have a tough job on their hands.
