Rangers hold the Old Firm Derby this weekend which means Celtic have now moved 13 points clear at the top of the table.

The Sunday encounter was typical fierce derby which saw Alfredo Morelos and Halliday being shown red cards and Ryan Kent narrowly escaping one.

Morelos was sent off pretty early in the match which meant Rangers were down to 10 men and at the mercy of their cross-town rivals.

Celtic though could not capitalise on the advantage and eventually, the Gers managed to get back on level terms in the second half through Ryan Kent.

Then it was James Forrest who turned out to be the hero of the game as he scored the winner for Celtic just five minutes from time.

But speaking after the match, Joe Worrall claimed that the Gers were the better team despite playing with 10 men.

“I thought we were the better team with 10 men,” Worrall told Rangers TV.

“There was a stage at the end there where me and Connor were pushing for a winner, I almost got a tap-in at the end there.

“It wasn’t to be though, and now we just have to look forward to Hearts on Wednesday.”

In many ways, Joe Worrall is completely right since Rangers defended resolutely despite going down pretty early in the match but unfortunately, the Bhoys won the match thanks to a superior attacking bunch of players.
