Several clubs are already interested in signing Luka Jovic and according to Fichajes, Premier League side Arsenal have also joined the race.

Clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Atalanta are already keeping tabs on the forward and now Arsenal’s entry into this mix makes things even more interesting.

Real Madrid paid a really lucrative sum to sign Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 but the striker has been really poor since moving to Spain. In his 49 appearances for Madrid, the 24-year-old has netted only three goals.

He’s played only 291 minutes across 13 league matches this season and with so many clubs interested in him, it’s safe to say that Ancelotti will look to sell him in the summer.

Will Luka Jovic choose a move to Arsenal over the others?

Luka Jovic firstly needs game time to be able to bring back his confidence and if Lacazette is leaving in the summer then Arsenal will be the perfect club for him. Aubameyang has already joined Barcelona and Eddie Nketiah is also expected to leave at the end of this season so Jovic can be the undisputed first-choice centre-forward at the club next campaign.

Getting back into the Champions League will obviously be an added bonus for the Gunners but in the situation that Luka Jovic is in right now, the forward cannot make UCL demands from any of the interested clubs.

BVB and Sevilla will be lucrative destinations but joining a Premier League side is tempting for any player and if Real Madrid do decide to part ways with him then Arsenal are really strong contenders to sign him.

The Gunners had been linked with a loan move for Luka Jovic in January so the forward will know all about Mikel Arteta’s future plans at the club. But the one big issue is that some rumours are suggesting that the Arsenal boss might be looking at the Real Madrid man as the backup striker and not as the main man and if that is the case then Luka Jovic is sure to have second thoughts.
