Manchester United are yet to lose a game ever since Solskjaer took charge of the club late last month.

And on Saturday, the Red Devils picked up their fifth win on the trot beating Reading 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.

Now Man United have headed to Dubai for some warm weather training and after their return, they will take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

But a number of fans have raised questions as to why Solskjaer has chosen to take his players to Dubai – a move which is similar to what Jose Mourinho did last year when he was in charge of the club.

Now the Norwegian manager has finally revealed why he has chosen to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor.

“I’ve got to know them [the players] because I’ve had plenty of time to speak to them,” Ole said at his press conference on Friday,” Solskjaer said.

“But we haven’t had plenty of time to train.

”It’ll be a time to get some fitness work and work hard with them, so, if any of the players think it’s a holiday, they’re wrong, because we’re there to stick together, work hard on the physical part of it and, of course, think a little bit ahead to the Tottenham game.“

United have scored 16 goals in just five games since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the team but there are still some aspects which he needs to sort out in order to carry this squad forward into the second half of the season.

Players like Andreas Pereira and Fred are yet to play their best football which is still a cause of concern for the manager.
