Manchester United are preparing for a major overhaul this season under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a poor 2018-19 season.
And if reports are to be believed then the Norwegian boss is planning to make a move for former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
Moussa Dembele left Celtic back in 2018 to join Ligue 1 side Lyon and the 22-year-old has been a big hit in France.
This past season, he had played in 51 games for the French side – scoring 23 goals and making six assists.
And it looks like Ole wants him to lead the line for Man United during the upcoming campaign.
Moussa Dembele was back at Parkhead this Sunday as Celtic lifted the Premiership title and it was here that the centre-forward talked about his future.
He said: “I signed for five years with Lyon and I’m happy there but we’ll see what happens.
“I’m happy to stay with Lyon next season but we’ll see.”
Celtic sold Moussa Dembele to Lyon for a fee of £19.8million last summer and if the 22-year-old can move to Man United this year then it will be an added bonus for the Hoops due to the sell-on clause.
Lyon are expected to quote any interested club around £40million for Moussa Dembele which means Man United can easily afford to sign him.
Having said that though, Lyon will be playing in the Champions League next season while Man United have gone to the Europa League.
So it remains to be seen whether the striker will be keen to drop down one level and play for Manchester United.
