Maurizio Sarri might have helped Chelsea win the Europa League this past season but the manager is not too keen to stick around at Stamford Bridge.

Apart from that UEL victory, Maurizio Sarri has had a really troublesome season with Chelsea and now reports are claiming that the Italian wants to head back home.

Sarri has reportedly handed in a formal request to Chelsea so that they can release him during the summer and he can then take charge of Juventus.

Juve parted ways with Max Allegri a couple of days ago and Maurizio Sarri has been tipped to replace him for the upcoming season.

And now former Leicester City boss, Claudio Ranieri has hinted that the current Chelsea boss might very well be on his way back to Italy sometime during the summer.

Ranieri said: “How did I find Italian football? An improvement and with the possibility of evolving again. The signs are positive. We are going to have a season that I imagine crackling: the premises where they are all, with the return of Sarri and Conte.

“Napoli will want to get closer and reduce the gap from Juventus: it has the possibility, it would be a prize for the efforts of De Laurentiis and Ancelotti, which has its own history and has chosen a project based on sound principles

“Being in the Champions League is an award that should be enjoyed, and Napoli has succeeded this year too,”

If Chelsea do decide to let Maurizio Sarri leave then Max Allegri could be the man to replace him – as per the latest reports in England.

Some experts have also claimed that the Blues might not be too eager to appoint a third Italian manager on the trot and hence will hand the reigns of the squad to legend Frank Lampard who has done a fine job with Derby County this past season.

But right now, a number of fans want Maurizio Sarri to stay at the club and finish the rebuilding process he had started last summer.
