Premier League side Arsenal could try and go back for Nabil Fekir but this time they are going to face competition from clubs like West Ham United and Everton.

The midfielder was on the verge of joining Liverpool in 2018 but somehow the deal did not go through and very recently he had opened up as to why he could not move to England.

“It was a dark moment. I saw plenty of things which weren’t true,” he said. “It was said the knee stopped me going to Liverpool but that wasn’t true.

“I went to Clairefontaine [France’s football centre near Paris], and they did all the proof [medical assessments] and the knee was fine.

“I had a problem with my agent, my adviser. It was the agent [who was] responsible for the deal not going through.”

But now, as per a report in Fichajes, the 28-year-old is wanted by as many as three Premier League sides, including Arsenal.

The Gunners tried to sign him last summer but that did not work out and it’s being claimed that Mikel Arteta will move for him one more time.

The Real Betis star has made a very solid start to his La Liga campaign this season, featuring in seven games so far and he will love to join a Premier League side.

While Arsenal are the biggest amongst the three suitors but they already have Martin Odegaard in their squad so it will be really difficult for Arteta to convince Fekir on a move.

West Ham United and Everton can incorporate the 28-year-old a lot easier though so if it’s game time he’s looking for then the Betis player is likely to snub Arsenal.

Nabil Fekir is currently valued at £22.5 million and his current deal expires in 2023, so his transfer fee will also be in the budget of both West Ham as well as Everton.

Having said all this, Arsenal are still one of the biggest clubs in England and there are many players who would want to play for the Emirates outfit rather than join Everton or the Hammers.
