As the new Premier League season is about to start every major team is indulged in their final pre-season preparations.
While most of the teams are back to their respective clubs after playing their pre-season friendlies, a number of clubs are wrapping up the friendlies and are on their way back home as we speak.
And one such club is Newcastle United who played their final pre-season game against Augsburg at St James’ Park this weekend after which they are back in the Premier League.
The Magpies lost the game 1-0 to the German club but one player, in particular, has left the supporters a tad bit speechless.
The player we are talking about is right-back DeAndre Yedlin.
Yedlin made a dash from his own box to the opponent’s penalty area in just 8 seconds and fans are in awe at the pace of the full-back.

Yedlin joined Newcastle United in 2016 from Tottenham Hotspur for £5 million and since then the US International has made a considerable impact at the club.
Yedlin played 34 out of the 38 Premier League games last season but even the 25-year-old agreed that the 8-second dash made left him a bit dizzy.
Took me the rest of the game to recover 🤦🏽♂️ https://t.co/lA8WgPGyTN

But the fans just can’t stop talking about the superb run and many are hoping that Yedlin can replicate that during the new season.
Take me about 3 weeks to run that far…
