Celtic FC forward Odsonne Edouard has been constantly scouted by big Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Leicester City and it seems like defending champions Liverpool have also entered the race.
A report in the Leicester Mercury suggests: “The 23-year-old played under Rodgers during the manager’s time at Celtic with a reunion at the King Power Stadium said to be possible.
“Rodgers has made no secret of his desire to add to attacking areas in the summer, although the goalscoring form and recent performances of Kelechi Iheanacho alongside Jamie Vardy, could just ease the need for a striker slightly.
“City are not the only club linked with an interest in Edouard, with Arsenal, Aston Villa and now Liverpool all said to be eyeing the forward.”
Where will Odsonne Edouard end up next season?
Odsonne Edouard has been in fine form ever since he moved to Celtic from PSG in 2018 and even last summer, clubs like Arsenal and Leicester City tried to get their hands on him.
Both these English sides were hopeful of a much easier bargain this time around since the Bhoys have not been able to win the SPFL title. But the entry of Liverpool surely makes things a lot more complicated.
Celtic FC reportedly want around £20 million in exchange for Edouard and as per the latest updates, Liverpool are willing to offer some money plus Divock Origi as part of the transfer deal.

Origi might not have been able to make a name for himself at Liverpool but he will undoubtedly shine in Scotland which is why the Bhoys might snub every other offer and allow Odsonne Edouard to join Liverpool at the end of this season.
And we doubt if the Frenchman will be able to resist the chance of playing for one of the biggest teams in Europe, under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.
Arsenal & Leicester will not give up without a fight but if the Merseyside outfit are really interested in signing Odsonne Edouard then we fear all the other interested parties could take a backseat.
During the current season, the 23-year-old has netted 16 goals and provided five assists in 26 Premiership games for Celtic.
