Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with a move out of the club this summer.

Earlier this summer, the Frenchman had claimed that he wanted a new challenge thus opening doors to a potential exit and since then Real Madrid have been hot on the tail of the player.

Reports suggest, Zidane Zidane is eager to bring Paul Pogba on board before the new season and the player’s agent Mino Raiola is pushing hard to make the transfer happen.

And recently, Teddy Sheringham had added more fuel to the fire by saying that Ole should let the player leave since it would be the right decision for everyone.

‘Ole is obviously saying the right things about Pogba, he knows him from his Under 21 days but again, I just don’t think the fit is right,’ he said.

‘He’s upset a lot of people with his demeanour and attitude at Old Trafford, and I think it would be best for everyone concerned if he left. I think he needs to go.

‘If Real Madrid want him, whether they’re going to be paying £100m, £150m, let him go, start again, and use the money to go and buy someone that really wants to be playing for Man United and showing how good he is and what his worth is for Man United.’

And when Paul Pogba did not feature vs AC Milan on Saturday, there was a buzz that the player might have handed in a transfer request.

Thankfully though, the Man United was quick to clear the air about the midfielder’s absence saying that he missed the final pre-season game due to a back strain.

“Paul will probably be back early next week in training. It’s not an injury, just some pain. He’s not injured but I wasn’t going to risk anything this weekend,” Solskjaer told a news conference(as reported).

“He should be okay (for Chelsea). I would hope so, anyway. I wasn’t expecting Paul (at the airport). I spoke to him after training and he didn’t feel right.”

Man United will take on Chelsea during the opening weekend of the English Premier League and by the looks of it, Paul Pogba should be fit enough to feature vs the Blues.
