Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is sure to part ways with a couple of players during the summer transfer window but there is no way that he is willing to let go of one of his prized possession.

As things stand, Alfredo Morelos is one of the key figures in the Rangers squad and the Gers have no intention of parting ways with him – not just yet.

Alfredo Morelos was signed from Finnish club HJK on a three-year deal and the transfer fee even though undisclosed was reported to be in the region of £1.5 million.

And ever since his arrival last summer the Colombian has made a superb impact scoring 18 goals in just 43 appearances.

And with fine performances also comes a big chunk of the limelight and Chinese club Beijing Renhe had offered £11 million for the player’s service a couple of months ago – though it was swiftly rejected by the Light Blues.

And now reports are claiming that the Rangers have turned down yet another offer, this time from Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Signing a striker is one of the top priorities for Fenerbahce and they had made Alfredo Morelos one of their top targets.

But the Gers have made it clear that they have no intention of parting ways with the striker and only wish to bring in a couple of more attacking players during the coming few weeks.
