Spurs have joined London rivals West Ham United in the race to sign Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma, according to Sky Sports.

The report claims: “Tottenham are interested in signing Kurt Zouma from Premier League rivals Chelsea.

“The 26-year-old is one of a number of defenders Tottenham are currently looking at – on Friday it was reported Spurs are in talks to sign Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic.

“Earlier this month, Sky Sports News reported Zouma’s preference is to remain in London amid interest from West Ham.”

Kurt Zouma to choose a move to Tottenham Hotspur?

Kurt Zouma has been put up for sale by Chelsea(as they try and bring in Jules Kounde) and he clearly wants to remain in London.

Some rumours had claimed that West Ham were no longer interested in Kurt Zouma but according to the latest update from Claret & Hugh, the centre-back remains Moyes’ top priority target.

But the Hammers boss is not ready to meet the defender’s massive wage demands and this is where Tottenham can come in and become the favourites.

Spurs are actively looking to add another centre-back to the squad and someone like Zouma can be the perfect adding.

At first glance, this might look like a real problem for West Ham United but the Hammers will benefit hugely if Zouma chooses to join Tottenham.

If the Chelsea defender joins Nuno’s side then the Lilywhites will scrap their interest in Nikola Milenkovic – a player who was been tracked by West Ham all throughout the summer.

Recently, Moyes chose to pull out of in this transfer race but if Spurs want Kurt Zouma then West Ham will once again be the favourites to sign Milenkovic.
