Unai Emery is under extreme pressure as Arsenal have failed to pick up a win in their last four Premier League matches. And while the Arsenal management have chosen to back their manager, most of the fans, as well as the former players, want the Spaniard out of the club.

So far this season, the Gunners have gathered only 17 points from 12 matches and right now there are increasing fears that they will not be able to return back to the Champions League next season either.

There were rumours that Unai Emery would be sacked during the international break but as per the latest reports, the management will not likely take any rash decision before the new year.

But while the club is willing to give Unai Emery time to get things back on track, Harry Redknapp believes the Spaniard’s time at the club is up and he should be shown the door.

The former Spurs boss has also hinted the club should bring in someone of the young guns like Chris Wilder or Eddie Howe to replace Emery.

Harry Redknapp said: “I’ve got to be honest, I don’t think Emery can turn things around.

“What amazes me, every time a top managerial job comes up, you have to go to someone big.  What about the kid at Sheffield United, [Chris] Wilder, what about Eddie Howe? These kinds of people.

“You haven’t got to be a genius to look at Arsenal and go hang on, they need a couple of central defenders and they need a midfielder player, but they keep buying forwards.”

Another name which has been doing the rounds is that of Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentinian was sacked by Spurs earlier this week.

While Pochettino had a couple of months ago claimed he wouldn’t be able to take charge at Arsenal even if Daniel Levy sacked him but with him looking for a new job anything’s possible now.

The Arsenal fans will obviously not be too happy with the idea of an ex-Spurs boss replacing Unai Emery but with the kind of reputation he has, we are pretty confident, the Emirates crowd would warm up to him pretty easily.
