Arsenal have had a roller coaster season so far and despite a very good first half of the season, the Gunners fans do not look too pleased.

And they have every right not to be especially after the recent performances, that Unai Emery’s men have been churning out.

When Unai Emery took charge of the Emirates outfit during the same his main job was to bring back Champions League football at the club. And up until a couple of months ago, it looked like the Gunners will be able to achieve that easily.

But since then, a lot of things have changed.

Arsenal have dropped points consistently and on the other hand, Man United have been in a rich vein of form.

After beating Southampton on Sunday, Unai Emery’s men have been able to reclaim the fourth spot but they currently have only a one-point lead over United.

But Unai Emery still believes that his players are capable of getting back into the Champions League.

‘We are not looking at the table at the moment because we still have lots of games to play,’ Emery said.

‘The most important is to be focused and ready for every game because we are not going to think that we are in the top four. The season is not done we still have lots of games to play. Do we believe? Yeah, everything is possible.

‘Our focus is on our way because we cannot control the results of Manchester United, Chelsea or Tottenham, only when we play against them.

‘The most important thing is to think step by step and our focus is to win Wednesday.

‘It’s a positive to be in the top four but it doesn’t change our way, we take things game by game. Wednesday is important and we feel strong at home.’
