West Ham United beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend and next up they take on Southampton at home this Saturday.

The Hammers beat Spurs 1-0 and in doing so they became the first team to pick up a win at the new Spurs stadium.

And on the back of this impressive victory, everyone will be hoping that Pellegrini’s men manage to pick up all three points vs the Saints at home which would mean that they will still have a fighting chance of finishing in the top half of the table this campaign.

West Ham news vs Southampton:

Manuel Pellegrini named his strongest side vs the Lilywhites last weekend and we do not expect him to make any massive changes to his starting line-up this Saturday.

The centre-back pairing of Diop and Balbuena should remain the same while Masuaku is also likely to retain his place.

The only player who could be benched is Ryan Fredericks as Pablo Zabaleta comes back into the right-back position.

Declan Rice and Mark Noble have been the central midfield choice for Pellegrini for most of this season and the duo will most certainly start against the Saints this Saturday.

Snodgrass is expected to start as the attacking midfielder but some reports claim that Manuel Lanzini is expected to be fit before the weekend which means the Argentine has a slight chance of playing.

If Lanzini is deemed fight then he will replace Snodgrass as the playmaker in the squad.

Michail Antonio scored the only goal against Spurs and he will most certainly retain his place alongside Marko Arnautovic and Felipe Anderson.
