West Ham United take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Wednesday and as things stand David Moyes has a series of injury concerns.

The likes of Jack Wilshere and Ryan Fredericks have already been ruled out for lengthy periods and now David Moyes has made it clear that Felipe Anderson too is likely to be out for maybe a month.

Apart from Anderson, Yarmolenko too will return back during the same time frame while Michail Antonio has returned back to training but will not be fit in time to travel for the Leicester City game.

“Felipe’s got a problem with his back from the landing which he had in the game [against Sheffield United], which looks as if it’s going to keep him out for a while,” the West Ham manager told the press.

“A while looks like probably four weeks, we think.

“Michail Antonio’s getting closer to fitness. He’s been training with us now so he’s getting a little bit closer. Yarmolenko we still think’s probably the best part of three weeks away at the moment.

“We could do with getting some back because of the busy programme, but sometimes game after game for the players isn’t a bad thing.

“Sometimes it also focuses them and hopefully we’ll keep our form going at the moment.”

“We’re trying hard to do so. We’re trying to get some wins, and not just on the pitch. We’ve defended better in recent weeks.

“We’ve started very well. We want to keep scoring goals and we also need to make sure we’re not giving the team opportunities to score.

“We want to be able to play with four at the back and three and the back. It’s much more common to change. We’ve worked on both systems so we can do that, but it’s down to the players’ attitudes, and their attitudes have been so good. I’ve seen it in their stats.

“That’s the most notable thing for me.”
