West Ham United face Manchester United in the Premier League this Sunday and manager David Moyes has hinted that he a few injury doubts going into this key game.

The Hammers will have the chance to enter the top-four if they can beat Man United this weekend but things will not be smooth sailing as the manager could be forced to rotate his regular starting line-up.

The duo of Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku remain long-term absentees but David Moyes has revealed that both of them have made great progress and we might seem him playing for the first-team pretty soon.

Unfortunately, everything was not positive news from Moyes with the Hammers boss claiming that he has a few sudden injury issues to deal with before Sunday’s game.

Moyes said, as per the club’s official website: “We’ve got a couple of slight doubts behind the scenes on a couple of players, who have just picked up slight injuries which I’m hoping will be okay. I won’t know until tomorrow to see how a couple of them are going.

“That’s just something I’m nursing behind the scenes a little bit. It might be that they’re all okay, it might be that they’re not okay – that’s where it is.

“Angelo is doing great. He’s back in the gym regularly. He’s out of his boot and we’re expecting him to start some running on the AlterG, which is the machine that takes a bit of your body weight off.

“He’s coming along and I’m hoping that, maybe by the end of the international break, we might have him back on the grass in some capacity. There are signs that we’re getting him back.

“Arthur’s trained two or three days this week with the U23s and trained with me for a couple of days now, so Arthur’s getting much closer to match fitness and all-round fitness generally.”

Hopefully, none of the new injuries are serious and all of the regular starters are available for selection against Man United.

West Ham United will have the chance to jump over Chelsea on the Premier League table if they can beat United at Old Trafford on Sunday but things will get really tricky if Moyes has injuries to deal with, especially since Jesse Lingard is also unavailable to play against his parent club.
