Liverpool head to London to take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday and Jurgen Klopp is going to be without Conor Bradley, amongst others.

The youngster played on the right-hand side of defence ahead of Trent in the Chelsea game and he was the star of the show with one goal and two assists against his name. Bradley was very much in line to hold onto his starting role at the Emirates Stadium but the club has just announced that his father has passed away.

His performance against the Blues was promising but the untimely demise of his father means the 20-year-old is not likely to travel to London.

Bradley’s absence means Trent Alexander-Arnold will come back into the side but Andy Robertson won’t be so lucky. Robertson has also returned from his injury and he got some game time in the Chelsea game however, Joe Gomez has done really well at left-back and Jurgen Klopp will stick with him this weekend.

Mo Salah is another big name who is not going to be available for selection because the Egyptian is recovering from a muscle injury and he is expected to make a comeback sometime during the second week of February.

However, not all news is negative for the Liverpool manager because Darwin Nunez is going to shake off his knock.

Nunez provided an assist and also missed a penalty in the 4-1 win over Chelsea and he also sustained a foot injury during the first half. Thankfully, the injury is not serious and he’s trained with the rest of the players on Friday afternoon so he will be available for the away trip.

The Uruguayan international had a difficult first season with Liverpool but this time around, he’s been a much more consistent performer with seven and assisted seven goals in 21 Premier League games.

Thiago Alcantara also took part in Friday’s training session but the midfielder is some time away from full fitness.
