Marcus Rashford has been in red-hot form for Manchester United this season but he picked up a slight knock against Barcelona and is now a doubt for the Carabao Cup final.

Even though Man United knocked out Barcelona, Rashford did not manage to find the back of the net. Also during the second half, he picked up a knock and because the Carabao Cup final was just around the corner, Erik ten Hag decided to take him off.

After going off, he did go and sit on the bench which indicated that the injury was not serious but now Erik ten Hag has claimed that it’s still too early to determine the extent of the injury.

“I don’t know[how serious it is],” he told the reports, as per the club’s official website.

“Players are now coming in, we have to do investigations, medical, of course, yesterday we did. So straight after a game most of the time you can’t say, you have to wait for a 100 per cent diagnosis.

“So let’s do the medical, the work, we have to wait.”

This news will not go down too well with all the United fans but fresh reports on Saturday are claiming that the England international’s injury is not serious and he will be starting at Wembley.

Marcus Rashford has been one of the best strikers in Europe this season and so far, he’s scored 14 goals in just 24 Premier League games.

In February, he played in seven games for Manchester United and scored in five of those matches. The second legs vs Barca and Forest(EFL Cup semi-final) were the only two matches where he failed to score.

If Marcus Rashford is indeed fully fit and available then it is a great boost for Manchester United but the 25-year-old is in the form of his life. He’s the go-to man for United when they are in search of goals and since this is a final, Erik ten Hag will want all his best players on the pitch.
