Man City vs Spurs is going to be the highlight of the Premier League this weekend but this game could be disrupted by Storm Eunice.

Storm Eunice is causing chaos across various parts of England on Friday and as per Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick, Spurs’ travel plans to Manchester could be disrupted due to the storm.

He wrote on Twitter: “Storm Eunice is threatening to impact Spurs’ travel to Manchester today & has already forced Conte’s press conference to go from in-person back to Zoom.”

Spurs usually take a flight for their Premier League games but Storm Eunice has caused chaos amidst the England airspace as several flights have been grounded.

There have been some rumours that the Man City vs Spurs game might have to be called off due to the fact that Burnley’s first flight to London has already been cancelled and the Lilywhites might be forced to walk in a similar path.

But according to the Daily Mail, Spurs will likely take the bus to Manchester if the conditions do not improve and they can’t take a flight.

A flight to Manchester takes one hour but a bus journey will be around
five and a half hours so fatigue is going to be a major cause of concern for Antonio Conte.

Spurs already go into this game as the underdogs and if they have to embark on an overnight journey to Manchester then the odds will be even more against them.

Daily Mail are also claiming that the North London side are yet to take a final call regarding their travel arrangements and instead of taking a flight or a bus, Tottenham could also travel by coach.

The Man City vs Spurs game will kick-off in the evening so Conte’s side have plenty of time to rework their plans and reach Manchester in time.
