Youri Tielemans is expected to leave Leicester City during the summer and according to ex-Man United star Kleberson, the Belgian should snub advances from his former side as well as Liverpool.

In a recent interview, Brendan Rodgers had hinted that Tielemans might be looking to secure an exit meaning clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United will be on high alert as soon as the current season comes to an end.

“We are real as a football club. You’ll get people asking if we can hang on to these players for the next six or seven years,” Rodgers told Sky Sports, as quoted.

“But the reality is that if a player does really well at Leicester, he may want to leave and move on to another club. For us, it’s just about being ready for that.”

Youri Tielemans is going to be one of the sought-after players if he is indeed available in the summer and according to Kleberson, the 24-year-old snub try and secure a move to Chelsea.

Kleberson Express via Paddy Power: “Youri Tielemans is not at a big club. Leicester City doesn’t have the pulling power that some other Premier League teams possess. I could see Tielemans going to Chelsea because their style would suit him.

“When you watch Chelsea play, they are more comfortable with the ball. A move to Manchester United would be a really big risk for him, and Liverpool already have players who can control games and dictate the play.”

Will Youri Tielemans snub Man United & Liverpool to join Chelsea?

There’s no denying that Youri Tielemans is one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League but Chelsea will only go after him if they are convinced that Declan Rice won’t be joining them.

Even Man United and Liverpool have been linked with Rice and all these clubs have the West Ham United man as their top priority target, in terms of a midfield signing.

Rice won’t come cheap whereas Youri Tielemans will be available for cheap since his contract will expire pretty soon but that won’t deter the likes of Chelsea and Man United to try and sign the Hammers midfielder.

If Youri Tielemans is available then surely there will be interest in him but we don’t think he will have the luxury of taking his time to choose his next destination, especially if West Ham are ready to part ways with Declan Rice.
