Adrien Rabiot Juventus
Adrien Rabiot

Juventus are looking to offload Adrien Rabiot and four of the top Premier League clubs are keen to bring him on board, as per reports.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all being linked with the midfielder and with just one year remaining on his current deal, Rabiot is very much likely to leave the Old Lady.

Adrien Rabiot joined Juventus from PSG in 2019 but he’s been very average so far, scoring just seven goals in 129 games across all competitions.

The Bianconeri are actively looking to sell the Frenchman as they look to reduce their current wage bills and as per the rumours, Rabiot is also keen to move out of Italy. A transfer fee of around €15-20 million should be enough to convince Juventus for a sale.

Which of the interested teams is most likely to sign Adrien Rabiot?

Adrien Rabiot has been very underwhelming at Juventus but he’s a very fine player who’s still just 27 years old. He has a lot of unfulfilled potential which is probably why so many big clubs want to sign him.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are obviously the strongest contenders in this transfer race because of their recent successes but we think Spurs will be the underdogs.

Fabio Paratici is now in charge of transfers at Spurs and he was the one who directed Rabiot’s move to Juventus in 2019. He has a very good relationship with the midfielder which is why we think Antonio Conte’s side can seriously compete with the PL top-three in this race.

Adrien Rabiot has seen Antonio Conte’s tactics from very close quarters when he was managing at Inter and this could be a very big deciding factor for the midfielder.

Also, at clubs like Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool, Rabiot will face some serious competition for regular starts and we think he will want to join a club where the contest is lower. Spurs are going to sell Harry Winks this summer and once he moves out, Conte will have only a handful of midfielders.

Adrien Rabiot will obviously be tempted by the interest from the Premier League’s top three clubs but we have a feeling Spurs might be able to nick this one.
