Man United take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday and this game sets the ball rolling for a really packed schedule for the Old Trafford outfit.

After Sunday’s match, United take on Leicester City and Liverpool in a span of just four days, something which has really caused a lot of tension amongst the Old Trafford faithful.

United are still not guaranteed a Champions League next season and if they were to lose a couple of their remaining matches then there’s that disastrous chance of them falling out of the top-four.

Dropping points is a real possibility against Leicester as well as Liverpool which is why some people think the Man United boss could heavily rotate his starting line-up on Sunday.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not outrightly accepted such a decision but his concern for his players is a clear hint that the manager could make an array of changes vs Aston Villa.

“I feel for the players, I feel for the team,” the manager said after the match. “I feel for them having had this fantastic season, got to a final.

“I’m sat here answering these questions and not about the run-in. They’ve worked their socks off. They’ve been absolutely brilliant and I’m just very, very happy for them that we’ve got to this place.

“We just have to do our best. It’s another challenge for us and, please, you can see I’m not happy with it, I’m not sulking. It’s one of them things that I know my players will take head on and we as a group will be stronger for it when we come out of it.

“I just keep my fingers crossed that no-one will get injured. That’s going to be my biggest concern, injuries.

“Harry Maguire has played every minute for us in the Premier League since he came. I don’t think that’s possible now. That’s another record or another stat that he could have been very, very proud of but I can’t really see that happening now.

“I’ve got to think about my players. But I know there will be teams fighting for the Champions League places that will not think that’s Man United’s best team in that team, that’s not the best players.

“I can promise you that it’s impossible to play 90 minutes at this intensity, at that level in the Premier League four times from Thursday to Thursday. That means I cannot play everyone every minute, which means we’ve got to prioritise.”

Man United do not have the best bench strength so it’s only logical that their manager keeps some of his regular players on the bench this Sunday against Aston Villa.

Aston Villa are not in the best form either having won just two of their previous five league matches so the Manchester United boss is more likely to take a gamble against Dean Smith’s side rather than Liverpool or Leicester City.

Players like Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata are more than capable of playing against Aston Villa and there’s a big chance we might see more of such fringe players on Sunday at Villa Park.
