Jude Bellingham is wanted by some of the top Premier League clubs but there’s a chance that Real Madrid could end up signing him.
According to a report by Defensa Central(h/t Fotmob), Madrid officials have met with the representatives of Borussia Dortmund midfielder to discuss a possible summer transfer. Last month, he was linked with Liverpool and now, even Chelsea and Manchester City are said to be interested in him.
Bellingham is one of the best central midfielders in the world right now and the lad is still just 19 years old. This makes him an ideal prospect for many clubs and many pundits are of the view that he will want to return to England.
Jude Bellingham played his youth football for Birmingham City before joining BVB in 2020. Since then, he’s made 118 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals.
His contract with the German club expires in 2025 but as per the rumours, Dortmund will let him leave if a team is willing to meet their valuation. His current market value is €110 million but to sign him, a potential suitor might have to shell out around €130-140 million.
Real Madrid are possibly looking at Jude Bellingham as the long-term replacement for Casemiro but we don’t think they will be able to sign him so easily.
Making an early move surely has its advantages but with teams like Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool also interested in him, the youngster will not want to take any hasty decisions.
He has been strongly linked with Liverpool and many think that’s his preferred destination. However, if a club like Chelsea or Man City are offering him more money then Jude Bellingham could very easily change his mind.
All these four sides know very well that the midfielder won’t come cheap so if they are ready to go after him then they are willing to shell out more than €100 million. Now, we have a feeling that the final call will depend on Bellingham himself and which club and manager he wants to play for next season.
