Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Arsenal will take on Wolves in the Premier League on Wednesday and the Gunners need to win this game in order to stay relevant in the top-four race.

With Spurs, Man United and Chelsea all dropping points, Arsenal had the golden opportunity to go third on the table but they too suffered a 3-2 loss at the hands of Crystal Palace this past Sunday.

And Wolves would certainly not be an easy team to beat given they have faired brilliantly against top-six sides this season beating Man United twice during the past couple of weeks.

Arsenal news vs Wolves:

Bernd Leno made a couple of decent saves vs Palace and the summer signing will reprise his role in front of goal at the Molineux on Wednesday.

A three-man back line has been the preferred formation for Unai Emery this season and the Spanish boss will surely keen this intact in midweek but with a couple of changes.

Shkodran Mustafi had a really poor outing vs Palace and the central defender is expected to be dropped and Sokratis will come into the side.

Laurent Koscielny will keep his place in defence but Mavropanos will drop down to the bench and Nacho Monreal will return to the starting XI after having started the previous game on the bench.

The club have confirmed that both Aaron Ramsey and Denis Suarez have been ruled out of the Wolves clash due to injuries which means Lucas Torriera is a guaranteed starter.

Granit Xhaka will be assessed before the Wednesday night clash and if the Swiss cannot make himself available then it should be Matteo Guendouzi who will partner Torreira in central midfield.

Jenkinson started as the right wing-back vs Palace but on Wednesday, Maitland-Niles is expected to replace him. Kolasinac will reprise his role as the left wing-back on Wednesday.

Mesut Ozil played as the link between the midfield and attack on Sunday but the German should make way for Henrikh Mkhitaryan while Lacazette should be replaced by Alex Iwobi.

Unai Emery had confirmed earlier this week that he will be rotating his players in order to keep them fit for the rest of the season so we can expect a few surprises in the starting line up on Wednesday.
