Arsenal picked up a 2-1 win over Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Sunday and next up they welcome Norwich City in the Premier League.

The Gunners have finally managed to get their act straight after suffering two losses since the restart and after the wins vs Southampton and then against the Blades, Mikel Arteta’s men will be looking to pick up their third victory in a row on Wednesday.

The Canaries are sitting at the bottom of the league table having lost five of their last six leagues matches and last weekend they were also knocked out of the FA Cup as well by Manchester United.

Norwich have failed to score in 6 of their last 7 matches in the Premier League and so the North London side will be hoping to pick up an easy win at home in midweek, despite having a long injury list.

Arsenal team news vs Norwich:

Bernd Leno looks to be out for the remainder of the season meaning Martinez will start in goal while the Arsenal manager could opt to use a three-man defensive line, just as he did vs Sheffield during the weekend.

Luiz came back from suspension and played in defence for Arsenal vs the Blades and if the manager opts for a 3-4-3 formation then the Brazilian will keep his place in the starting line-up.

This formation gives a starting chance to both Tierney and Sead Kolasinac with the latter playing as the left-sided wing-back. Maitland Niles started on the other side of the pitch vs Sheffield United but Hector Bellerin will come back into the starting XI in midweek.

Granit Xhaka’s return from injury was a welcome boost for Arsenal and it will be interesting to see if the manager opts to use his again or does he bring Matteo Guendouzi into the side. Lucas Torreira has returned to training but the South American is still some time away from being fully match-fit.

Dani Ceballos came off the bench to score Arsenal’s injury-time winner on Sunday and the Spaniard will start in central midfield vs the Canaries.

Mesut Ozil did not feature in the matchday squad in the weekend due to a lower back injury and the German should be left out in their Premier League clash as well.

Nicolas Pepe seems to be slowly finding his rhythm and the summer acquisition is expected to be rewarded with yet another start after his fine display against the Blades.

Lacazette could move back to the bench as Nketiah comes into the side while Bukayo Saka will make way for Aubameyang on the left-hand side of the pitch.

There’s also a big chance that Saka gets to play as the left wing-back on Wednesday in which case, Sead Kolasinac will drop to the bench.

Arsenal’s predicted XI vs Norwich:

Possible starting XI: Martinez; David Luiz, Holding, Mustafi; Bellerin, Kolasinac/Saka, Xhaka/Guendouzi, Dani Ceballos; Nicolas Pepe, Nketiah, Aubameyang.
