Manchester United are expected to bring in a flurry of new players during the summer transfer window but Bruno Fernandes has a word of warning for all these new arrivals.
Bruno Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford in January and within this short span of time, the player has become a heart-throb of the fans both for his on-field as well as his off-field personality.
And now speaking to the club’s official website the player has made it clear that anyone thinking of joining the club in the summer should have a winning mentality.
He told the club website: “Everyone wants to come here. It’s easy for Manchester and I hope to build a big team, you know?
“We already have a big team, but whoever comes needs to come to win. Just to focus to win, I want people hungry for titles and everything.
“I feel this now in the group, everyone wants to win.”
Right now, Harry Maguire is the club captain at Manchester United but it’s not too long before Bruno Fernandes gets to wear the band around his arms.
Not only is the Portuguese a top-class playmaker but he has all the characteristics of a great leader – something Man United have been missing for a really long time.
Some pundits have also gone a step further claiming Fernandes could be the next Roy Keane due to the way in which he motivates the players on the pitch and also inside the dressing room.
And now with this word of warning, the former Sporting man has made the team’s intentions clear for the upcoming season which in turn, is yet another clue about the type of players that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign during the summer transfer window.
