Celtic FC are gearing up for the summer transfer window and according to reports in France, the Bhoys are keeping tabs on midfielder Kevin N’Doram.
The 26-year-old midfielder currently plays for French side FC Metz but since the club has been relegated from the top division, N’Doram is expected to move out in the coming months.
Kevin N’Doram is a graduate of the Monaco academy and he joined Metz on loan in 2019 and then secured a permanent deal in 2020. His contract with the club runs until 2024 but since Metz have slipped to the second division, the club will have to cash in on some of their current players and are expecting a fee of around €2.5 million from the sale of N’Doram.

Do Celtic really need a midfielder like Kevin N’Doram?
Celtic have already parted ways with Scott Brown, Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham and this summer, Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic will also be moving out of the club.
Ange Postecoglou did bring in Matt O’Riley, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi during the summer transfer window but it looks like the manager is keen to add even more midfield reinforcements.
For a fee of around €2.5m, N’Doram’s signing might seem like a good deal but the midfielder has been very average for Metz this past season.
He has played in only 19 Ligue 1 matches and in most of them he has been subpar. Injuries have also been an issue for the 26-year-old so it makes no major sense for Celtic to bring him on board.
We know Postecoglou will need a big squad because they will be playing in the Champions League but they will be much better off signing a younger midfielder.
Based on his performances this season, Kevin N’Doram will not be able to break into the Celtic first XI so it makes no sense to invest so much money on a potential benchwarmer.
