England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been named the most valuable footballer according to a study done by the CIES Football Observatory.

The CIES Football Observatory algorithm uses 19 variables such as a player’s age, goals scored by him, position, league of employment to determine a player’s worth. And according to this algorithm, Harry Kane’s current valuation stands at €201.2 million.

This means that the English International is more valued than the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Even Liverpool’s Mo Salah who had such a fairytale season ranks well below Harry Kane in the 5th position and is valued at €171.3 million.

Harry Kane who is at the top of the table is followed by PSG’s Neymar who is valued at €197.5 million and then by another PSG star Kylian Mbappe who is worth €186.5 million.

France is the most represented country on the list with 16 players making it to the top 100.
