Rangers FC once again dropped points in the Scottish Premiership, this time drawing Kilmarnock.

Everyone expected the Gers to bounce back at the midweek loss to Aberdeen but in the end, it was Killie who went back home with a point.

McAleny opened the scoring for Killie right before the half-hour mark but once again Alfredo Morelos came to the rescue as he levelled things will in the 64th minute.

And speaking after the game, Rangers defender Connor Goldson has claimed that the team needs to find out what is going wrong and then work on rectifying those mistakes.

“For the majority of the season everything has been positive,” Goldson told the Daily Record.

“But when we have the week we’ve had – drawing with Hibs and losing to Aberdeen – the place has turned upside and gone from positive to negative.

“We just need to look at ourselves, what went wrong and try to improve. That’s all we can do as a team.

“I just don’t want the place to turn sour after Tuesday, where it becomes a case of players trying not to get nervous.”

With each average performance, the pressure seems to be growing on the Rangers manager and right now the Teddy Bears have failed to pick up a win in their last four games.

Most pundits have assured that Steven Gerrard is not likely to be sacked this season but if Rangers keep coming up with such poor performances, there’s no guarantee that the former Liverpool man would stay in Scotland during the summer.
