Man United forward Marcus Rashford is fit and ready to play against AC Milan in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 this week but some reports have been suggesting that the forward will take the field with a shoulder injury.

Rashford missed the first leg of the tie with a slight injury but he was back in no time which has prompted many to believe that he is being forced/forcing himself to play with a niggling injury.

The 1-1 draw is the only match that Marcus Rashford has not featured in this season but ahead of the San Siro game, the England international has made it clear that he is in no ways pushing his body beyond its limits and right now his sole focus is on winning Thursday’s match.

“I just focus on the next game at hand and that’s how I deal with it,” he told the press on Wednesday. “What’s needed after we’ll deal with that after, but my main focus is just to be available for the games.

“I know my body and I know what I can do physically and that’s it. I take one game at a time and it’s the life of footballer.

“We can rest when we retire and for now I want to play as much as I can. I recover from games quite well and from injuries I have no doubts, so I have no worries.

“It’s a massive game for us and I’m feeling positive and optimistic. In the first performance we showed that we can do well in tough positions, but now, going to the San Siro, we’re looking for a dominant display and ultimately score goals.”

Marcus Rashford has played a lot of football over the past year and a half and the England international did not even get a proper summer break due to the delayed ending to the previous season.

This time too, he will be with England for the EURO which is why if Rashford is not careful then he could have a long-lasting injury.

With Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial both out of the 2nd leg, Marcus Rashford will be a definite starter but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will soon have to find a few games where he can rest his premier attacker.
