Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen and this is a deal which is likely to get done in the coming weeks, according to journalist David Maddock.
He wrote for The Mirror: “On the surface, it seems left field, but scratch a little deeper, and you can see why Liverpool would be interested.
“His stats impress a club that do massive homework on players across Europe. He also scores goals from wide positions, which is important this season, with both Mo Salah and Sadio Mane off to the Africa Cup of Nations in January.”

Should Liverpool move for Jarrod Bowen?
Jarrod Bowen joined West Ham United last year from Hull City and during the 2020-21 season, he was one of the standout players for the Hammers.
Liverpool have some of the best attackers in European football but last season players like Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were really average. So it makes sense that Klopp is looking to bring in some backup in the attacking areas.

Bowen primarily plays on the right wing so when Mo Salah leaves for international duty, Bowen can serve as the perfect backup. But, we will have to wait and see if the 24-year-old is ready to join a side where he will not be a guaranteed starter.
At Liverpool, Jarrod Bowen will get the chance to play in the Champions League but West Ham United are also in Europe so it will not be a massive bonus if he chooses a move to Anfield.
Bowen is currently valued at £27 million but his contract with the Hammers expires in 2025 so Moyes’ side are in no hurry to cash in on him during the ongoing transfer window.
