England take on Tunisia in their first Group G game of the 2018 World Cup on Monday evening and Gareth Southgate’s side will have the pressure of picking up all three points – especially after many top sides have already faltered in their first game of the tournament.

Gareth Southgate is expected to name his strongest eleven for the match which is scheduled to be played at the Volgograd Stadium and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho feels that the there is no possibility of an upset much like the other games in the World Cup

Mourinho said‘I watched Tunisia against Portugal in the last friendly Portugal played before the World Cup and honestly, I didn’t like much,’

‘I consider Tunisia a similar team in terms of potential and style to Morocco.

‘I think England should win, but [then] Brazil should win [against Switzerland], Germany should win [against Mexico], Argentina should win [against Iceland], so I don’t know.

‘I think by the tactical point of view tomorrow is two strong teams, two strong squads, Belgium and England, they come to play with three at the back plus the wing-backs, let’s see how the smaller teams are going to adapt to that.

‘Because I think against the top teams it’s not so linear that they are going to have success.

‘But against teams who are going to have a more defensive profile, three at the back and the two wing-backs protecting and bringing more people close to the striker.

‘So [Romelu] Lukaku will be surrounded by [Eden] Hazard and [Dries] Mertens, Harry Kane will be surrounded by [Raheem] Sterling and Jesse Lingard, so many they have, I think it’ll be interesting.’

Jose Mourinho has previously claimed that the English side has what it takes in order to win the World Cup this year which comes in contrast to many pundits who do not see Southgate’s side progressing beyond the semi-finals.
