Jose Mourinho vs Pogba is easily the most talked-about topic right now in European football.

Whatever Manchester United do becomes news so naturally, when the rift between their manager and their star player came into light, Mourinho vs Pogba became the centre of mainstream debates.

This whole fiasco started when Paul Pogba admitted he only had a professional relationship with the manager and recently went on to criticize Jose’s defensive tactics at Old Trafford.

Then it was the boss’ turn who responded by making it clear that the Frenchman would never again captain Manchester United.

But now talking in relation about the whole Mourinho vs Pogba debacle, former Man United coach Rene Meulensteen has brought to light an even more serious issue which the club need to address asap.

Meulensteen was, of course, talking about the dressing room news being leaked out to the press which he feels bring about a bad image of the club – especially in a time of such turmoil.

Speaking with talkSPORT host Jim White on Wednesday, former Red Devils first team coach Meulensteen said: “There are too many things coming out, whether from Mourinho or the players, and that causes constant disruptions inside and outside the club.

“Obviously there is a problem because there are certain things as a manager between your players you want to keep between the walls of the dressing room.

“That is part of the strength of the squad and that’s what you need when you are getting into difficult times like Man United are in at the moment.

“That’s when you need to pull together and close the ranks, rather than throw something out that again opens up the speculation and causes a lot of disruption.”

Yes, there a clearly a lot of issues between the Paul Pogba and the United manager but for once the club need to look at the bigger picture and keep this Mourinho vs Pogba debate aside and focus on what is good for the team.
