Since Rangers FC announced Steven Gerrard as their new manager, the former Liverpool man has been making constant new signings and the Light Blues fans just cannot stop gushing over their new boss.

Steven Gerrard has already made six new signings(when the article was published) and indications are that the Ibrox outfit have no intentions of slowing down.

The latest player to be linked with a move to Rangers is Stoke City striker Saido Berahino.

Berahino joined Stoke City during the January transfer window of 2017 but since his move from West Brom, the striker has failed to make any sort of impact with the Potters.

During his one and a half season stay at the bet365 Stadium, the 24-year-old has managed to play just 30 games failing to score even a single time.

Reports have it that the striker has had a conversation with Stoke City manager Gary Rowett during which the manager has clearly told him to get his act together.

This, if true, is surely an alarm bell for Berahino and rumours have it that Steven Gerrard wants to bring him to Ibrox.

Having said that though, the move if it goes through will likely be a loan deal rather than a permanent one.

Berahino has failed to find the back of the net for Stoke City in 16 months and if we analysize the timeline of the player then we will see that he has only had one good season with West Brom back in 2014-15 when he scored 20 goals in 45 appearances.

But if the reports are to be believed then Rangers are planning to bring Berahino to Ibrox on a season-long loan deal which will undoubtedly be a great catch.
