England defeated Sweden 2-0 and managed to secure a berth to the semi-finals of the World Cup – their first since 1990.

The Three Lions managed to get a comfortable victory thanks to goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli either side of half-time and Southgate’s side managed to reach the semis without breaking a sweat.

But before the match, most people were of the view that Sweden might and should pose a big threat to England but sadly that was not the case.

In the build-up to the game, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had placed a bet with David Beckham wherein the Swede promised to buy Beckham dinner if England won while Beckham would have to buy him something from IKEA if Sweden comes out on top.

In reply to that, Beckham had graciously accepted the challenge but with a condition that Zlatan will have to come to Wembley to watch an England game wearing an England jersey and then eat fish and chips at half-time.

And now that England have won the game, the former Man United winger wasted no time in reminding Zlatan as to what he had to do.

David Beckham posted an Instagram story in which Zlatan’s face was photoshopped on top of an England jersey with the writings, “Looks like someone’s coming to Wembley again.”

But the former Premier League legend was not the only one who trolled Ibrahimovic as Wayne Rooney also got in on the act.

Rooney tried to provide a shoulder to cry on and wrote: “How you feeling today mate @Ibra_official? If you need a chat I’m always here”

England will now take on Croatia in the semi-final of the World Cup on Wednesday.
