Amad Diallo to Sheffield United Bramall Lane EPL

Manchester United might be planning to send Amad Diallo out on loan as Championship side Sheffield United want to sign him for the 2021-22 season, as per talkSPORT.

The report claims: “Manchester United winger Amad Diallo is wanted by Sheffield United after being told he can go out on loan, talkSPORT understands.

“Uruguayan youth team forward Facundo Pellistri has already left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad on loan, joining LaLiga side Alaves for the season.

“Amad is expected to follow with Championship side Sheffield United keen to sign him.”

Should Amad Diallo be allowed to leave on loan?

Manchester United paid £37 million to Atalanta for the right winger but he is nowhere close to becoming a first-team regular at the club.

Last season, he played in only three Premier League matches for Manchester United which is why he missed pre-season camp and went to play for the Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics.

And now that Man United have signed Jadon Sancho, it will be really hard for Amad Diallo to find game time once again which is why a move to Sheffield United will be the perfect option for him.

Sheffield United will be pushing to get back into the Premier League so Amad Diallo will be joining a side where the competition is fierce and this will really help him mature, both physically as well as mentally.

Man United paid £19 million up front for the 19-year-old and the rest £18.5 million will be in the form of add-ons.

According to TransferMarkt, Sheffield United do not have any specialised right-winger in their squad so it will be really easy for Amad Diallo to get into the starting line-up.

Oliver Burke can play on either wing and Luke Freeman can also be used on the right-hand side, despite him being an attacking midfielder.
