Chelsea have been accused of letting go of their youngsters for next to nothing, who have then gone to become world beaters with other clubs.

And the same could happen with 21-year-old forward Tammy Abraham.

Tammy Abraham is easily one of the most exciting talents to come out of the Blues Academy in recent seasons and last campaign he was out on loan to Championship side Aston Villa.

With Villa, the forward had a wonderful season, scoring 26 goals in just 42 games across all competitions.

And given that the club have secured promotion to the Premier League next season, they desperately wanted to sign him permanently.

But it looks like Tammy Abraham has made his decision and will be heading back to Chelsea during the summer.

Abraham wrote on Instagram(as reported): “Where do I start. Firstly I want to thank everyone @avfcofficial for an unforgettable season felt the love and support from the get go & we did it together!

“This club will always have a place in my heart. @avfcofficial welcome to the premier league.”

The fact that Abraham will be returning to Stamford Bridge indicates that the Blues management has assured him of regular game time during the 2019-20 season.

Some experts feel that this is the perfect season for Tammy Abraham to shine given the forward crisis at Chelsea.

The Blues currently have Gonzalo Higuain as their first choice striker but the Argentine has failed to make an impression during his time at the club which might just be the opportunity that Tammy Abraham needs to become a regular at the Bridge.
