A number of Premier League clubs including Arsenal have been put on high alert as Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis hints at a possible summer exit.
Recently, his manager Philippe Clement admitted that there’s a big chance Dennis will be leaving the Belgian league in the coming few months.
“It is very likely that Dennis will leave. He can also count on a lot of interest. It is the time for him to take a new step,” Clement told Dernière Heure, as reported by Goal.
And now speaking to Sky Sports, the 22-year-old has himself admitted that he could head for greener pastures pretty soon.
Dennis told Sky Sports News: “I like challenges. I’ve been here for three years. My focus right now is I have one more game this season – the Cup Final – which I want to win, that’s really important to me.
“After then, we’ll see what happens, you never know. [Aston Villa’s]Nakamba is like my brother so we talk, and with Wesley also, we make jokes.
“I’ll say ‘how is it over there?’, and they always say, ‘this place is difficult, they like to gym all the time’, and I say ‘this is the Premier League my friend, you have to work’.”
Is Emmanuel Dennis good enough for the Premier League?
Emmanuel Dennis joined Club Brugge in the summer of 2017 from Ukranian side Zorya Lugansk and this season he has managed to score five goals in 20 league games for the Brugge before the Pro League was suspended.

Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Everton, Wolves and even Newcastle United have been heavily linked with a move for the Nigerian international and a number of these sides could plot a raid in the coming few weeks.
TransferMarkt currently values him at €13.5 million and he still has two years left on his current deal. But we are still not clear as to how much Club Brugge will demand to part ways with Emmanuel Dennis.
Wolves have fallen out of the race to sign Carlos Vinicius due to Benfica’s high demands meaning Nuno Espirito Santo could shift his focus on Dennis very soon.
Arsenal too have shown an inclination towards the forward but we think Arteta will only try and sign him if Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette is planning to move out in the summer.
