Chelsea are famous for letting their youngster leave the club and it looks like Callum Hudson-Odoi’s name is soon to be added to that list.

Hudson-Odoi has come up through the ranks at Chelsea but right now the winger is struggling to get game time under Maurizio Sarri.

While the Blues fans and pundits have been urging the manager to hand starts to Hudson-Odoi but up until now, the Italian seems to be unfazed.

Bayern Munich has already set their sights on the winger but the Blues are in no mood to part ways with Hudson-Odoi.

And now the manager has finally opened up as to why the winger is not getting enough game time and what the 18-year-old should do to set things right

Sarri said before Chelsea’s Europa League clash: “Callum is always in my mind in every match. I don’t know if tomorrow he will be on the pitch or not.

“I think also that you have to put less pressure on the young English player because they need to improve. I have never seen a player of 18 at the top.

“So Callum, as all the other young players in England, needs to improve in this moment.

“It’s very important for him to improve and then he will be able to be at the top when he’s 22 or 23, without pressure at the moment.

“I think you [the media] put too much pressure on the young English player.”

According to latest reports, Chelsea have already rejected a couple of bids from Bayern but rumours have it that Hudson-Odoi himself wants to leave the club in the summer.

Callum Hudson-Odoi’s current deal with the Blues expires in 2020 and right now there is no indication that the winger is keen to sign a new deal.

This means that if Chelsea does not offload him this summer then there is every chance that he will be on his way out for free next year.
